Sarah Blanchard Counselling and Psychotherapy North London Crouch End

Welcome to Sarah Blanchard Psychotherapy and Counselling in North London.

I am an experienced qualified psychodynamic Counsellor and Psychotherapist, registered member with BACP,  working in private practice in north London.

We all have times in our lives when we struggle with distressing feelings or difficult experiences.

At times when we feel so confused that we feel lost and nothing seems clear, counselling and psychotherapy can offer a safe space, a time to feel really listened to, understood and accepted.

Counselling provide an opportunity to gain a better understanding of your own behaviour and the feelings that motivates them. This is a chance to reflect on where you are and the choices you are making.

Psychotherapy can be of help to you if you are finding it hard to recover from traumas, experiences from your past, recurrent difficulties (such as relationship problems, depression, addictions, working life, anxieties) and also if you wish to overcome certain recurrent patterns in your life.

Whatever it is that brings you to therapy I will offer you a  safe, empathetic, non-judgemental, confidential space to explore, identify and resolve your issues.

I seek to establish that with every one of my clients, no matter their background problems or circumstances, a supportive and non judgemental relationship.

As I get to know you, we can explore ways of making your life more fulfilling. This could involve learning to be kinder and more accepting of yourself.

I will support you in your journey by enabling you to feel less overwhelmed , gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your relationships  so that you can feel more empowered to make positive, life enhancing changes.
